SwiSSA is a Students association at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, founded in 2010 by Andrew Megally, who studied Dentistry at Semmelweis at the time.
Its aim is to unite swiss students at Semmelweis University. By the term "swiss" we do not explicitly mean the nationality, but rather a general relationship to Switzerland as place of living, its languages, food and culture.
SwiSSA organises events for its members so that they can meet, speak their mother tongue, fight homesickness with swiss food and exchange tips and tricks about how and which hospitals to chose for internships and rotations.
SwiSSA also aims to generally help Semmelweis Students to get internships in Swiss hospitals and clinics.
SwiSSA takes part in different events inside and outside of Semmelweis Universtity. Due to the pandemic the number of recent events is rather low, but we are hopeful that this will soon come to an end.
